Austria Shred with friends!

It's amazing how a good powder day can cure any form of hangover or any other lame stuff! clears your head and keeps you focused on the fun stuff! 1st day of shredding in Europe and many many more to come. This is gone be the perfect warm up for our Alterna shred trip to Turkey end of this month!

Innsbruck after three heavy party days at ISPO tradeshow in Munich. now its time for some serious pow shred! BOOOO YA!! so much snow here its insane. 17 people died in avalanches the last 5 days in Austria. so put on your be-con and learn how to use it! better safe then sorry!!

Zdravo(Hello) from Europe

Bosnia Road Team Reporting ->

We have made it to Slovenia. It took us 24hrs of traveling to get here including lay overs and driving. Our one stop was Amsterdam for 5 hours and we were able to catch a train into the city center. Definetely a must see! The snow is falling and will continue to fall here in Slovenia. We are all extremely jet lagged and slept 13hours last night. Today we set out on the town of Maribor in the snow to look for some lines and jibs for tomorrow morning before we embark on our 8hour Drive to Boznia.

Bosnia bound...

Our first overseas trip of the season kicked off today. John Scarth, Jesmond Dubeau, JF Fortin and filmer Byron Kopman are heading over to meet Tadej Valentan and Domen Bizjack for a trip we are doing in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. This war torn country is run by three gangs who are fighting for control of the country. According to Domen (our slovenian bud) its pretty mellow at the moment but should make for an interesting segment. Scarth was pumped on going to an area of the world that was not so posh, definitely a contrast to what our crew is used to . Stay tuned for more photos from this trip.

Pemberton Ice Cap...

Last week we went up to the Pemberton ice cap with Dufficy, Gaetan and Benji. Duff and Benji hit a jump that looked like a massive diving board. The day crapped out on us by mid afternoon but we were able to get a few shots in the bag before heading into the trees.

We had a great day with riders Chris Rasman, Dave Short, JF + Vince Fortin and photographer John Scarth. Jumps, pillowlines, and powfields were shredded in abundance. Here are a few snaps we took along today's excellent journey in Whistler's beautiful backcountry!

Greasing the wheels...

We just came off a pretty nice week of filming up here in BC's backcountry. Conditions were prime and our crews were itching to ride some pow. Didn't really bother building any booters just wanted to strap in and session natural lines and drops.

Our crew for one of the days was Dufficy, Benji, Gaetan and Chris Rasman. Here are a few pics from one day filming.

We took up Gerhard Gross from SBC magazine this day so look out for a video he is going to release in the near future about shooting with Alterna.
