Frozen Milk

Had an interesting day today to say the least with Chris Rasman, Jesmond Dubeau and Colin D Watt. It was one of those days that seemed like you could drop almost anything. Jez and Rasman stepped up to hitting some early morning pillows and as the day went on things didn't really come into place for us. Got stuck, rolled a sled, got stuck, hit a tree, got stuck, D watts milk froze so in the end we decided to not look further than the Panda and we made something work.

Early season update...

Here are a few pics from a recent shoot at Brandywine with Jesmond, JF and photographer John Scarth.

Jesmonds idea was to naturally transfer this ice wall/gap. As you can see by his bomb hole near the lower left hand corner of the photo he came within a foot of disaster almost landing on the exposed ice.

His second attempt bucked him and sent him in the direction of John Scarth who was planted in the gut of the ice gap. Jez was a c-hair away from landing directly on Scarth so we decided to move on.

Jesmond gets SBC December cover

Hello World Teaser

Sunset Glacier Heli Shoot

Just finished a very successful sunset Heli shoot on the Whistler Glacier. We have been planning this shoot for quite some time now and finally all the pieces came together and we had a perfect day to get into the bird and get a few last shots for our film Hello World.

Riders Chris Dufficy, Jesmond Dubeau and Chris Rasman were sessioning the perfectly cut Billabong Ante jump. We teamed up with Darren Rayner on this shoot so we had a crew of about 7 riders in total sessioning. The session started off with a warm up double back late 180 (looked like a double late bs rodeo) from Duff no big deal. The session lasted for about an hour and a half and we tried filming for our first time with a RED camera from the heli and another on the ground. Stay tuned to SBC for more info on what we were trying with the camera operated by Bryant Bell on the ground (could be a first if all things come together).

Jesmond and his unstoppable energy was killing it late into the evening look out for a stand out segment from Jes in this years film.

Grouse Session Great Success...

2 Days of shredding at Grouse concluded last night at are around midnight with probably our most productive Grouse Session to date. Day one started of pretty mellow with exception of a few close decapitations. Day 2 started off with a step up session that we have considered doing for quite some time. We were not sure if the crew would have enough speed to make the step up but as we discovered their was plenty some serious hammers were thrown down. The day ended with a dismal effort from the Vancouver Canucks but soon was forgotten when we got into our night session. Thank You to Bern & Jonathan from Atomic2 Creative Lighting these guys lit the NBC Today show during the Olympics the lights were sick.

HUGE shout out to Grouse Mountain especially the entire Grouse Park Crew that came out to help these guys came up with all the park designs and followed through with little to no sleep. These guys killed it!
